Accelerating Research to Care (ARC) Network

The American Cancer Society (ACS) Implementation Science Team exists to catalyze evidence into practice with health care ecosystem partners across the cancer continuum to reduce cancer-related suffering and inequities. The American Cancer Society Accelerating to Care Network (ACS ARC Network) is how the Implementation Science team approaches work with partners.

ACS ARC Network bridges the evidence-to-practice divide by partnering with health systems to accelerate the adoption of proven innovations. We provide tailored support, tools, and expertise to turn evidence into impact. Our tailored solutions are designed with one goal: ensuring patients receive the highest quality, evidence-based care when and where they need it most, across the cancer continuum.

ACS ARC Network meets partners where they are to solve pressing problems identified and prioritized by health systems.

ACS ARC Network is a three-tiered approach that ensures optimal resource allocation and meaningful impact:

  1. Knowledge Translation: One to many dissemination and educational opportunities.
  2. Evidence Implementation: Longitudinal improvement and implementation collaboratives including funding opportunities with centralized technical assistance.
  3. Practice Transformation: Intensive, longitudinal projects to develop and implement process improvements for practice transformation.
