Guacamole

Avocados are loaded with “good,” unsaturated fat, as well as heart-healthy fiber, potassium, and folate. And they’re delicious in our classic recipe for Guacamole.
Makes 10 servings
Approximately 80 calories and 8 grams of fat per serving
Ingredients
2 ripe avocados, skinned and mashed
½ lemon, juiced
2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
- Mash the avocado well and stir together with lemon juice, onions, and olive oil.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
