Mauri Douglas has over 10 years of fund raising and non-profit management experience including distinguished events, capital development and planned giving. She has worked with the American Cancer Society as a Senior Manager of Distinguished Events.

In 2008, Mauri worked with MSquared Designbuild to serve as Director of Operations and Development.  Her primary role was assisting non-profit schools and religious facilities in developing a program that included planned giving, major gifts and grants for the development of each organization.

Through her relationships with both organizations, she was able to assist in the growth and overall mission priorities in order to reach goals for building new facilities or add additional programs that reach far beyond their immediate proximity. While working with MSquared, Mauri was able to assist in raising $22 million for facilities and programs. Since coming to the American Cancer Society, Mauri has enjoyed working with and building relationships with individuals, corporations and foundations to help see the goal of the American Cancer Society become a reality.

Mauri lives in Tyler, Texas and is married to John. She has two children: Meaghan and Benjamin and his wife, Julie. Mauri’s favorite past time is traveling to visit them both in North Carolina and Strasbourg, France.
