Regions covered: Los Angeles

Tim is a native Californian having grown up in Northern California and now resides in Los Angeles. He has over 7 years’ experience working in the non-profit space working with individuals, corporate partners, foundations and volunteers. Tim moved to Los Angeles in 2012 after completing the AIDS/LifeCycle which is a 7-day charity cycling event raising money to help end AIDS. He started working in fundraising & development for the Los Angeles LGBT Center specifically working on the AIDS/LifeCycle bike ride. After working on many successful rides which raised millions of dollars, he progressed to their Major Gifts team as a dedicated Major Gifts Officer developing a portfolio of 200 investors, raising over $1M annually for the organization. He is well-versed in data analytics, donor stewardship and acknowledgment, advancing volunteer leadership in fundraising and solicitation efforts while building a comprehensive, sustainable major gifts program.

Tim shares that his family and many friends have been touched by breast cancer, so he is excited to join the ACS family and help put an end to this terrible disease. Having seen many friends diagnosed with cancer so early on in life, he wants to help spread the message of education and early detection. Cancer doesn’t discriminate and so it’s ever more important we stand up and fight this disease together until we find a cure.

Tim attended Seattle Pacific University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Communication with a focus on Interpersonal Communication. He has many hobbies including cycling, soccer, baking and traveling the world. His curious nature and passion for travel have led him to some amazing destinations.
