Oregon Discovery Shop Experience: Where helping others is always in style.
Our Discovery Shop locations in Oregon help support the fight against cancer through the sale of high-quality, gently used, donated merchandise. For more than 50 years, the American Cancer Society has owned and operated these specialty resale stores, featuring items such as clothing, accessories, jewelry, artwork, antiques, collectibles, furniture, and other household items.

Get Involved
Discovery Shop stores rely on the community to shop, donate, and volunteer.
Shop
High-quality, gently-used and new merchandise are donated by the community. Our fun, upscale resale atmosphere separates the Discovery Shop from a typical thrift store. There’s always something new to discover with refreshed merchandise daily, and you’ll love our amazing volunteers! Every purchase supports the American Cancer Society mission as well as a sustainable global environment.
Donate
If you have items that no longer bring you joy, entrust them to your local Discovery Shop. Drop-offs are welcome every day. We can also arrange to pick up larger furniture, in very good condition, on a shop-by-shop basis. We cannot accept major appliances, mattresses, or intimate apparel. Merchandise donated by the community has raised $22 million in 2019 and is helping the American Cancer Society save more lives.
Volunteer
For a few hours every week, join the fun and camaraderie while supporting your community! Volunteers are key to our success. With shops staffed almost entirely by volunteers, funds raised go even further to help the American Cancer Society lead the fight for a world without cancer.
