Beverley Stafford

Director of Estate and Gift Planning

Regions Covered:  Indiana

Beverley's commitment to ACS began in December 2007 when she agreed to chair the Relay for Life in Avon, Indiana to honor her best friend Linda.  Linda had just been diagnosed with a reoccurrence of her breast cancer and Beverley was determined to do something to make a difference in the fight to end cancer. Beverley chaired the event for three years and held various other volunteer roles to impact the Relay movement.  In 2011 she was approached about working for the Society and eagerly applied.  From 2011 to 2017 Beverley held several positions in the Indiana market including Community Manager and Senior Manager, Community Engagement.  She staffed the inaugural Real Men Wear Pink campaign in Indianapolis, grew the community events she managed and led the Indianapolis market team to revenue growth during her tenure.  In keeping with her commitment to honor Linda, Beverley has continued her advocacy efforts beyond employment as a volunteer with ACS CAN.

In late 2017, Beverley had the opportunity to go to work for the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society, furthering her career development as the Indiana Market President.  While at the MS Society, Beverley not only oversaw the market results for peer-to-peer fundraising, but also that of Do-It Yourself leadership events, individual giving and foundation gifts.  Between 2017 and 2020 the Indiana market saw their first $1 million gift, and grew individual giving along with foundation giving by nearly 100%.  Beverley is eager to bring her vast experience and learnings from the MS Society back to the ACS mission, specifically her honed relationship building skills focused on major donors.

Beverley received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Indiana Tech and is a proud graduate of the Leadership Hendricks County program and Lugar Excellence in Public Service program. Beverley enjoys volunteering and making her community better, serving twelve years on the Avon Town Council.

When she is not busy fighting cancer, Beverley treasures spending time with her family; including her 2 daughters Chelsea and Haley and her son Ben. Beverley is the proud Mimi to five grandchildren, with two more coming in 2021!  She enjoys time to relax at the beach or pool, reading a great book, and creating sweet treats and paper crafts to share with friends.
