Cancer treatment is often a long and emotional experience. Meeting the medical needs of cancer patients is only part of the cure. Addressing the human needs is also critical and that’s what Hope Lodge is all about. Volunteers help make the difference, by sharing and caring with Hope Lodge residents. Volunteers assist with greeting our guests by helping with the front desk to check our guests in or answer questions. Volunteers are needed to assist with driving our guests to treatment. Whether you have a few hours once a week or once a month, you can make a difference. Volunteer as an individual or as part of a community or civic group. Volunteer on an ongoing basis or to help with a one-time project. To become a volunteer or learn more about volunteer opportunities, call the American Cancer Society at 1-800-227-2345.
Click here for an application, and email the application to Lorraina.Aldridge@cancer.org.
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the American Cancer Society's Patrick F. Taylor Hope Lodge. You will be contacted by a Hope Lodge staff person as soon as we receive your volunteer application.
