Patient Services and Support Volunteer Opportunities
Provide direct help to cancer patients
When you volunteer for an opportunity in patient services you directly help cancer patients, survivors, and their loved ones get connected to the resources they need. Depending on which volunteer activity you participate in, you could use your driving skills to ensure a patient gets to and from treatment or share your personal breast cancer experience with someone currently facing a diagnosis, among many other opportunities. In addition, working in patient services and support is a deeply rewarding volunteer experience where you get to make a personal impact on the lives of people battling all aspects of cancer.
Volunteer opportunities in patient services and support are often available in the following programs and/or services:
At the American Cancer Society, we offer numerous ways for volunteers to join us in the fight against cancer. Sign-up to volunteer with the American Cancer Society and help us finish that fight.
