Understanding the Global Cancer Burden
If incidence rates don’t change, the global cancer burden is expected to increase to 19.3 million new cases and 11.4 million deaths by 2025, 68% of which will be in lower-income countries.
Global Relay For Life
Cancer has no nationality and neither does Relay For Life. Each year, more than 4 million people in 26 countries take part in Relay For Life, uniting communities and taking action against cancer. In 2016, more than 80 million dollars will be raised for cancer control in these Relay For Life countries.
