Betsy Dewey, MPH

Program Coordinator, Global Capacity Development and Patient Support

Betsy serves as the Program Coordinator for the Global Capacity Development and Patient Support team. She is responsible for overall support and administration within both program portfolios of work. She received a MPH in Global Health at Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. During her time at Emory, she focused her studies on cancer epidemiology and global cancer control. She was a graduate research assistant at Winship Cancer Institute where she conducted quantitative data analyses for breast cancer and gastrointestinal cancer survival studies. She was also a study coordinator for a qualitative HPV study, entitled PreTeenVax, that works to boost HPV vaccine uptake at the provider-level and identify hesitancy barriers in urban and rural areas in the state of Georgia.

Betsy served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Rwanda from 2012 to 2015 and extended her service to work at Rwanda-Zambia HIV Research Group in Kigali, Rwanda.
