Monitoring & Evaluation Manager, Global Capacity Development

Shahid serves as Monitoring and Evaluation Manager for the Global Capacity Development and Patient Support team. He works closely with Program Managers to design and implement monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities for the global capacity development and patient support portfolios.  

Shahid’s primary role is to build out a robust M&E system and database for the ACS SOURCE program as well as a learning platform for ACS and SOURCE Program participating organizations. Additionally, he provides oversight and coordination of the external evaluations conducted as part of the new global patient navigation initiative.

Shahid has extensive experience in conducting and leading monitoring, evaluation, and learning assignments in low- and middle-income countries. He has worked in various M&E capacities with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, USAID projects, US Peace Corps, and City University of New York. 

As a Fulbright student, Shahid received his PhD in Public Administration and Policy from the State University of New York (SUNY), Albany. He also holds two master’s degrees: a Master’s in Research from Lancaster University Management School in the UK and a Master’s degree in Science in Social Sciences from Quaid-I-Azam University in Islamabad, Pakistan. Shahid speaks English, Punjabi, Urdu, and Hindi. He is currently learning Arabic.
