Become a Road To Recovery® Volunteer

The American Cancer Society Road To Recovery program provides free rides to treatment for cancer patients.

Without a ride, too many people miss lifesaving cancer treatment.

You can change that as a volunteer driver with our Road To Recovery® program.

You can help the American Cancer Society ensure patients get to the care they need right when they need it most by providing rides to treatment when it is convenient for you.

Right now, we don’t have enough volunteers to meet every request. That means some patients are left without a ride. You can be the reason cancer patients get to treatment.

Take a look behind the scenes into what it’s like to be a volunteer driver.

The Road To Recovery program has been a lifeline for me during one of the most difficult seasons of my life. Knowing I had reliable, compassionate transportation removed a huge burden and allowed me to focus on what mattered most: showing up for treatment and continuing to fight.
