Evelyn’s Story
As a Dominican and Puerto Rican who grew up impoverished, Evelyn personally understands what it means to not get the care you deserve because of social economics. That’s why, through grants received from the American Cancer Society, she is fully committed to breaking down barriers to care for women in marginalized communities of Camden, New Jersey, where she lives and works.
