Full Text: American Cancer Society Head and Neck Cancer Survivorship Care Guideline (2016)
The guideline was developed by a multidisciplinary expert workgroup using current evidence and expert consensus. Existing guidelines for surveillance, screening for second primary cancers, symptom management, and health promotion were referenced when available. The guidelines discuss clinical follow-up care recommendations for surveillance for head and neck cancer recurrence, screening for second primary cancers, assessment and management of physical and psychosocial long-term and late effects of head and neck cancer and its treatment, health promotion and care coordination.
