global council program overview
In the coming year, the blueprint for the new American Cancer Society priorities will make a dramatic resurfacing of the global cancer burden. These priorities include: research in a number of promising areas, accelerating cancer prevention through screening, vaccination and education, access to care, and patient/survivor resources that reflect the advancements underway in treatment and care.
As stewards in the business community, we are united in our goal to help make the global cancer burden a priority – by lessening its impact on our business and commerce, our employees and their families, our communities and the next generation of leaders who will guide them toward a future of healthy living.
