The ACS-Wilmott Family Professorship in Pancreatic Cancer

Letter of Intent Deadline: February 1, 2023
Application Deadline: April 1, 2023

Through the generous support of Timothy Wilmott and Dr. Nancy Barna, the American Cancer Society (ACS) has established the ACS-Wilmott Family Professorship in Pancreatic Cancer. Every 5 years, this endowment will fund one ACS Professor, who has made seminal contributions in pancreatic cancer research and who is continuing to be a thought-leader and innovator in pancreatic oncology.

The ACS-Wilmott Family Professorship in Pancreatic Cancer will follow the same guidelines and terms as all ACS Professor applications. The endowed professor will receive $80,000 a year (direct costs only) for 5 years, with the opportunity to apply for a 5-year renewal. The funds are completely discretionary and meant to support a creative project or idea.

Interested professors should submit their curriculum vitae with a complete bibliography and a letter of intent (LOI) that briefly describes their seminal contributions to pancreatic cancer research. This information must be submitted using the standard Research Professor LOI template on proposalCENTRAL. Upon receipt, we will provide appropriate guidance either by telephone or email.
