Why I Work at ACS

At ACS, I work on research that has a tangible impact on understanding cancer and improving outcomes while being surrounded by people who are deeply passionate about reducing the heavy burden of cancer.”

At ACS since 2022

As an Associate Scientist in the Data Analysis team within Population Science, Ananya Reddy, MPH, works with American Cancer Society (ACS) primary investigators to conduct research studies and provide statistical programming support. As an analyst, Reddy uses epidemiological methods to answer cancer-related research questions and primarily works with data from Cancer Prevention Study-II (CPS-II) and Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3).

Research focus and accomplishments

My research interests include understanding the role of social determinants that drive disparities in cancer incidence, the impact of lifestyle factors, particularly diet, on cancer risk, and the potential applications of biomarkers as cancer risk factors.

Prior to joining ACS, my research focused on age-related cognitive impairment in relation to sleep, stress, and biomarkers of inflammation.
