Zachary Cahn, PhD., MA
Director, Economic and Health Policy Research
Zachary’s research focuses on e-cigarettes and other novel nicotine products. He is particularly interested in understanding the impact of e-cigarettes and related products on tobacco smoking rates, as well as the incentives faced by tobacco cigarette makers. His approach to these issues is multidisciplinary, using concepts and methods from a variety of disciplines across the social sciences and policy studies. He received his PhD in Health Services Research and Health Policy from Emory University in 2016. Previously, he had received an MA in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley and a BS in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
